About

Dr. Barbara Berrios was born in California but was raised in Venezuela until the age of 17. She grew up around horses and nature, with an ever-evolving love for animals. She moved to the United States in 2012 to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in animal sciences and for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Berrios later returned to sunny California to complete a rotating internship at California Veterinary Specialists – Carlsbad. Her special interests include ultrasonography in the ER setting and polytrauma.

Dr. Berrios is passionate about nature, art, photography, and snuggling with her dog, Matilda.
