About
Dr. Kayla Banks is diplomate of American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists. She received her veterinary degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to the midwest for her rotating internship at the University of Missouri and stayed for her residency in comparative ophthalmology with a concurrent master of veterinary science.
Dr. Banks has education in all aspects of ophthalmology, but especially enjoys diseases of the cornea and lens. She enjoys that the field allows integrations of both medical and surgical components into patient care. She prioritizes communicating closely with you and your veterinarian to provide a complete care plan for your pet.
While she grew up in Nebraska, she loves warm weather and sunshine making California a great place to land. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her family and dog.
