About

Kelsea obtained her associate degree in applied sciences from Pima Medical Institute in 2017, laying the foundation for her journey in animal care. Her career began as a technician in 2017 at VSH Sorrento Valley. In 2020, she transferred to VSH North County where she became a supervisor, showcasing her exceptional leadership skills and passion for the well-being of animals. Currently, she is the hospital service manager of the blood bank, ophthalmology, neurology, and surgery.

Her experience in managing multiple departments has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs and challenges within the veterinary field. This multidisciplinary exposure has honed her ability to coordinate effectively, foster teamwork, and implement best practices across various specialties, ultimately enhancing the quality of care provided and driving continuous improvement within the hospital.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kelsea is passionate about reading and hiking, finding solace in the pages of a book and the beauty of nature. When she’s not immersed in the world of veterinary care or exploring the outdoors, she shares her life with her cherished chocolate lab named Berlioz and her beloved daughter.
