About
Dr. Mairin Miller is originally from Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University in 2010 and then went on to complete a rotating internship at Washington State University in 2011. After her general internship, she finished two oncology specialty internships; one at the University of Wisconsin in 2012 and then Colorado State University in 2013. She moved back to Madison, Wisconsin to complete her three-year medical oncology residency at the University of Wisconsin in 2016. Dr. Miller previously worked as a medical oncologist at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA before moving to California and starting at VSH.
Dr. Miller is passionate about working in conjunction with the other specialties at VSH, especially surgery and radiation therapy, to provide her patients with the most advanced and comprehensive care. She is specifically interested in the use of novel chemotherapeutics, combination chemotherapy, and innovative treatments such as immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
During her free time Dr. Miller enjoys reading, traveling, being outdoors enjoying the beautiful southern California weather and spending time with her two cats, Tobago and Mayreau.
