Dr. Hunter McKee was born and raised in Florida, attending Florida State University for his undergraduate studies before attending the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduating in May of 2025. After graduation, he travelled to Gilbert, Arizona and completed an emergency and critical care focused internship at Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center. After finishing his internship, he joined the team at Veterinary Specialty Hospital San Marcos as an emergency veterinarian in July of 2026, and is excited to continue growing in this new role. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors whether it be running, biking, fishing, or anything else to spend some time in the sun.
