About

Dr. Melodie Messer grew up in Orlando, Florida until she moved to Virginia where she attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree. She then moved even further North to attend Michigan State for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduation, she moved to Southern California and completed a rotating internship at VSH in Sorrento Valley. She then practiced as a staff emergency doctor at the Pet Emergency and Speciality Center before coming back to the VSH team and joining North County full time.

In her free time she enjoys anything outdoors including hiking, swimming, paddle boarding as well as reading books and watching a good movie.
